Count down to COP26!

COP26, the UN Climate Conference in Glasgow, opens on 1st November until 12th November.

In the week running up to this historic moment we are releasing a video of a new Letter every day to inspire people everywhere to speak up for ambitious action on climate change from world leaders.

Filmed at the iconic Shakespeare's Globe, videos will be released from 25th October, led by Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore. She was joined by fashion designer and activist Dame Vivienne Westwood, Skins star Freya Mavor, Booker Prize-Winning author Ben Okri, Chief Responsible Investment Officer at Aviva Investors Steve Waygood, Founder of Riverford Guy Singh-Watson, climate justice activist Daze Aghaji, and Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finalists SOS From the Kids.

COP26 represents a decisive moment. The current commitments of every nation participating in COP26 are significantly inadequate to stabilise global temperatures to below to 2°C or even 3°C.

World leaders have a chance to take bold and decisive action so as to not breach dangerous and catastrophic levels of global warming. But to do so, they need to hear from people from all walks of life and know that this is what they demand. They need to hear from us all.

So keep writing and sharing your Letters and messages by video, on social media and by post until 12th November so as to be heard during this historic political moment.

Letters can be sent to the campaign for COP26 via our website or by post to:
