What world are you dreaming of?
The world is in a climate and nature emergency. All life on Earth is at risk.
When we live in such uncertain and unstable times, how can we move forwards with courage and with care?
Writing a Letter is an opportunity to bring all your fears, your frustrations and your love, to process what is happening to the world and to create something better.
What do you have to say?
Together, we are creating a new story
Letters to - and from - the Earth are being written by us all, from all over the world.
Children as young as 3, parents, teachers, scientists, journalists, musicians, indigenous leaders, activists, nurses, business leaders, priests, politicians, TV presenters, artists such as Yoko Ono, authors such as Ben Okri, fashion designers such as the late Vivienne Westwood, and more.
We are bringing your messages to life and sharing them with people around the world, to make sure your voices are heard and to inspire change for a liveable planet.
Below are resources to support you on your journey.
Taking frontlines voices to climate conferences
What if extreme weather, drought, famine and conflict forced you to leave your homeland?
In 2022 we were invited to the UN climate conference COP27 in Egypt to amplify the voices of those who are often excluded from the conversation – the displaced, the young, the indigenous. We’re asking world leaders to listen to them.
We went to Calais, France, to speak to people who are currently on the frontlines of migration waiting to reach the UK. Women and children refugees are fleeing Iran, Syria, Eritrea and Sudan because their homes have become hostile and inhabitable environments.
Watch our award-nominated video of their Letters below.
Since 2021 we have been taking your Letters to COPs, Davos and the UN General Assembly.
